Think Critically

Harrison's rebellion reveals that he is a person that doesn't like to be opress by other when he knows that he could do amazing things. He doesn't want to be like others because he wants to demonstrate that he is better than what he is made to be.
I feel sorry about George and Hazel Bergeron because they couldn't remember things even do they were really important like the death of Harrison, but also I find a bit of fault in them because everyone could rebel like Harrison did.
I think Vonnegut tries to say that in today's society everyone wants to be better than the others, and that we are living in a constant competition against other human beings when is supposed that everybody should be equal, because the story occurs in the future and they talk of the past as if everybody was wrong for having different skills.
The government can help achieving equality by promoting and making laws or everyone and by judging and punishing any act of discrimination among citizens. for example in the story the government make everyone who is smarter, faster or more intelligent to use a handicap, earphones, etc so everyone could be equal and everyone use the handicaps because they were made to use them.
